On the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus to Estonia V. Kachanov in the Day of Belarusian Culture in Tallinn

As part of the “Days of Slavic Literature and Culture”, on May 21, 2022, the “Day of Belarusian Culture” was held in Tallinn. The event was organized by the Belarusian society “Les” (Tallinn) on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its formation.

The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Estonia Vyacheslav Kachanov, as well as diplomats of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Estonia. Members of the Belarusian society “Les” were presented with memorable gifts and awarded by diplomas on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its formation.

The Belarusian society was also congratulated by the Mayor of Tallinn, Mikhail Kõlvart.

The Belarusian song ensembles of the Belarusian societies “Les” (Tallinn), “Syabry” (Narva), as well as participants of the Belarusian children's Sunday school “Busliki” and the Estonian dance group “Fidgets” performed at the event.

Holding Days of Belarusian Culture in Estonia contributes to the dissemination of knowledge about the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Belarus.
